 MANILA, Philippines – Dionisia Pacquiao, the mother of People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao, turns 63 on May 15.

But since the boxer may not be able to attend his mother’s birthday bash because of his ongoing training, he decided to give her an advanced birthday gift: an eight-seater Toyota Alphard luxury minivan.

The five-door vehicle, which boasts of a sleek aerodynamic design and luxurious interior, is reportedly worth P3 million.

“Wala na akong masabi kay Manny. Ito na ang regalo niya sa akin,” said Dionisia, popularly known as “Mommy D.”

Dionisia is currently busy preparing for her birthday bash where several of her showbiz friends are expected to attend.

Just like in her past celebrations, she is expected to perform a dance number while donning an expensive gown.

Dionisia said she will also be unveiling a pleasant surprise for her guests.

“May ipapakita ako sa mga guest ko, may intermission ako, pati kapatid ko hindi alam,” she said. – With a report from Chat Ansagay, General Santos City
